Why DocPixEdit
Built for privacy, accuracy and real phones
Nothing leaves your device
All processing happens in your browser. We never receive your photo, your face data or your file names.
Requirements with sources
Every preset shows the authority, the source link and the date we last verified it. No invented rules.
Exact output, every time
Preview and export share one rendering pipeline, so 35 × 45 mm at 300 DPI really is 413 × 531 pixels.
Designed for phones first
Touch-friendly editing, large targets and a layout that puts your photo first on small screens.
Installable and offline-ready
Add DocPixEdit to your home screen and keep working when the connection drops.
Free, with no catch
No account, no watermark, no subscription for the core tools.
Privacy first
Your face is not our data
Most photo tools upload your picture to a server. DocPixEdit does the work on your device instead.
No account, no cookies, no analytics on your images. Read the full privacy policy
International standards
Sizes and rules you can trace
Our requirements database is built from official government, embassy and consular publications.
- Dimensions in millimetres, inches and pixels, with the DPI used to convert between them.
- Digital submission rules: minimum and maximum pixels, file size limits and accepted formats.
- Every record shows its source, the authority and the date it was last verified.
- Rules we cannot confirm are labelled as such — we never guess.

FAQ
Common questions
Is DocPixEdit free?
Yes. The core tools — passport, visa and ID photos, resizing, print sheets and exports — are free, without a watermark or account.
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. Your photo is opened and edited inside your browser. It is never sent to DocPixEdit or to any third party, and it is not saved in your browser's storage.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Open the site, upload a photo and download the result.
Which image formats can I use?
JPG, PNG and WebP are supported today, and BMP will usually open too. HEIC photos from iPhones should be shared or exported as JPG first; native HEIC support is planned.
Will my photo be accepted by the passport office or embassy?
We cannot guarantee that. DocPixEdit checks your image against the technical requirements we have recorded from official sources, and tells you where it came from and when we checked. Final acceptance is always decided by the authority, and requirements can change.
Ready to make your photo?
Upload a photo and have a correctly sized file in a couple of minutes — without creating an account.
