Which tool do you need?

Most people need one of these six. Every tool runs in your browser, and they share the same rendering pipeline, so a photo you start in one can be finished in another.

I am applying for a passport, visa or ID card
Use the Passport, Visa or ID Photo Maker and pick your country. The output size, background guidance and advisory checks all come from the requirement record for that document, with its official source shown.
A form asks for an exact pixel size
Use the Image Resizer. Enter the size in pixels, millimetres, inches or a percentage, at whatever DPI the form specifies, and the exported file matches exactly.
The upload is rejected for being too large
Use the Image Compressor and type the maximum size in kilobytes. It finds the best quality that fits under the limit and only reduces dimensions if it has to.
I need printed copies to take to an office
Use the Print Sheet Maker. It places several copies on 4 × 6 in, 5 × 7 in, A4, A5 or Letter at 300 DPI with cut lines, as a JPG or a PDF. Print at 100 % scale so the photos measure correctly.
The form wants a scanned signature or stamp
Use the Signature Resizer. It crops to the ink, makes the paper transparent or white, and exports at the width and file size the form asks for.
I have the wrong file type
The Image Compressor also converts between JPG, PNG and WebP, and warns you when a conversion would lose transparency.

Why these tools run in your browser

A document photo is one of the most personal files you own: it shows your face, and it is usually attached to an application containing your name, address and identity numbers. Most online photo tools upload that file to a server, process it there and keep it for some period you cannot verify.

DocPixEdit does the work on your device instead. Your photo is decoded, cropped, resized and exported by code running in your browser; it is never sent to us, never stored, and is gone when you close the tab. Face detection and background removal use models that download once and then run locally, so even those features never see a server.
